Ali has 15+ years engineering experience in the development and commercialization of novel process technologies in oil and gas, pulp and paper, electrochemistry and pharmaceutical sectors.  In 2011, Ali founded AGEIAS Engineered Systems Ltd., an EPCM focused on the design and build of modular systems for proof of concept, demonstration, and commercial prototypes servicing clients from academic institutions, contract research organizations and laboratories. Ali has extensive experience in the management of both short term and longer multi-year R&D programs with a track record of commercialization.

Rocky Dhaliwal #

Rocky has 15+ years of industry experience  designing custom built manufacturing and processing equipment for a world leading manufacturer of commercial products. Rocky  has overseen numerous automated equipment  projects from inception to implementation.  Rocky has spent the last two years combining his  agricultural and engineering know-how to design extraction equipment for the emerging cannabis  industry with a focus on in-field harvesting and extraction.

Dr. Jean Saayman #

Dr Jean Saayman is a senior process engineer with 12 years of experience developing novel processes, pilot-scale research, hydrodynamics, and transport phenomena. He has transferred technologies from both lab-scale to industrial-scale and industrial-scale to lab/pilot-scale. He has a passion for developing novel processes, and his knowledge goes beyond traditional petrochemical engineering, with green and biotechnologies being areas he knows well. Jean has had extensive exposure to quality assurance methods and practices, with specific experience in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) methodologies. Jean holds a PhD. in Chemical Engineering.

Dr Marin has 15+ years experience in the biotechnology industry working in a GMP environment. Her expertise includes classical and molecular microbiology techniques, project design and management, quality control, and the development of research tools and quality systems for the pharmaceutical and the Cannabis industry. She also holds a PhD in Soil Microbiology.
